This is a sweet short story that can be used to start conversations with your child. Cute combination of fantasy and real life. This should be the start of a series with different thought provoking subjects.
I read this book to my 8 and 5 year old boys. Even though this book was mainly written for girls, my boys enjoyed the story. My 8 year old thought it was a "pretty good book". My 5 year old was inspired to tell me that he would be a superhero when he grows up!
This short story is brilliantly written. Beautiful sentiments of curious children as well as caring and supportive parents. My 4 and 2 year old daughters really enjoyed listening to the different ideas about what to be when they grow up. My 4 yr old requested to hear it multiple times and then said emphatically, "I want to be Spring when I get bigger!"
I really hope there is more to this story - the Season Family has a lot to offer to children and parents alike.
